Frequently Asked Questions
You’re ready to make a significant change or improve some of your life. But you’re struggling to do it on your own.
You’re finding it challenging to stay on top of “all the things” to know, or with the motivation or mindset to reach your goal.
Whether the changes you want to make or the goals you want to achieve are related to your health, schoolwork, career, business, relationships, or some other aspects of your life – you know it’ll take effort to make progress.
Striving for achievement, you might read articles, download apps, and buy books, courses, and products.
At Just About You Coaching, we work with one head coach, Asja Vera. She will be the one calling you for your intake and the coach having 1:1 sessions at this point.
For our Whatsapp coaching service, you’ll soon have the opportunity to choose the coach of your liking (and the coach’s availability).
We have multiple focus groups:
- Our primary focus is Expat Students and the common issues that arise from this challenging period.
- All students who are in need of help when it comes to personal development, social issues, study skills, and finding focus, regaining authority in their own learning process.
- Teachers in need of professionalism, clarification on certain issues, or personal development.
- Individuals and professionals seeking guidance during challenging times in their lives.
It might occur that we notice that an issue goes beyond individual complaintsbut about deeper problems. In this case, we will always advise you to seek contact with a therapist or GP. Here the costs are reimbursed by your health insurance. For therapy, you will need a referral from your GP.
There is a possibility for certain fields:
- Art and art history @ creativitysparklab
- Dutch and English language (speaking) skills
In other fields, we do not offer tutoring. But we have an extensive (international) network of tutors, so feel free to ask.
We do teach effective study techniques. And our individual coaches all have the ability to teach you great personal development skills.

Even if you’ve never played a sport, you know athletic coaches help prepare athletes to meet a goal successfully. Coaches who help clients meet personal, life, or business goals have a similar role.
Coaches ask questions, help you identify goals, uncover your fears, work with you to create a plan, and build structures to assist you in becoming successful.
Yet don’t think a coach will tell you exactly what to do or how to become a successful person.
You’ll work with your coach. So you’re not their student. While learning from them, you’ll be an active participant in the process.
Coaches and clients usually create short-term arrangements to work together. But the amount of time can vary depending on your goals and progress toward meeting them.
Nowadays you can basically find any information you’re looking for online. So you might be questioning the value a coach can provide.
If you can save money and try to figure out how to meet your goals yourself, shouldn’t you try that?
While you can certainly work toward your goals on your own, there are several reasons why paying for a coach is worth the money.
Working with a qualified coach can:
- Help you discover what’s holding you back
- Help you find the motivation to move forward.
- Challenge your assumptions; help you find truth and meaning.
- Identify your strengths and manage your weaknesses.
- Increase your awareness and clarity to help you make better decisions.
- Clarify your priorities.
- Aid you in creating independence.
- Help you find structure.
- Keep you focused.
- Provide you with honest and personalized feedback.
- Challenge you to think differently and explore new options.
- Help you move out of your comfort zone to make changes and grow.
- Make you more accountable.
- Support you and boost your confidence.
- Improve your work-life balance and relationships.
- Help you achieve your goals sooner and set new goals.
- Save you time and money!
This varies per individual, but there is an average duration of about 3 months or 8 conversations after the introduction. The method that we work with at Just About You Coaching is designed to make fast progress toward your goals. It’s important that we talk about your expectations of your coach and evaluate the process regularly. Your coach will do this too.
Payments can be made by bank transfer. You are able to purchase our Whatsapp packages directly with a banktransfer or invoice. For coaching sessions, group sessions, and other meetings, you will receive an invoice every month.
Payments are due within 14 days of receiving the invoice. This means that you have to pay for the order within 2 weeks. If we don’t receive a (complete) payment within that period, you will receive a reminder. This first reminder is free. If you do not pay, a 2nd and possibly a 3rd reminder will be sent. These last two payment reminders cost €5.99 each.
If for any reason, you decide not to pay within this term without notice to the contrary, we are entitled to settle collection costs and then switch to a collection agency.
In all cases, we advise you to contact us in case you have trouble paying.
The introduction call is without cost and can take up to 20 minutes. The follow-up is a longer call/in-person intake session. The prices can be find here.
A session lasts on average 50-60 minutes.
Just About You Coaching is a private company, which means that the costs are unfortunately not covered by your health insurance. This is because we will not be making diagnoses.
We try to use competitive prices. Think of coaching as an investment in yourself that will benefit you for years to come. For a more affordable option, please check out our Whatsapp coaching plans. These plans start as low as €9,99 and are an option for everyone!
